The chromatic sensor system is a further and also important option of the non-contact wall thickness measurement system TM(C) for container glass which is in use worldwide very successfully. It works on the principle of chromatic aberration and is recommended for use at extremely oval and rectangular containers. It completes the existing range of sensor types and increases considerably the measurability of complex containers. The use of the new chromatic sensor system in TM(C) is remarkably easy: It is operated in a free channel of the TM(C) electronic rack like the other approved sensor systems.
